Sadly the weeds are back! Carpet rose beds
After giving a deep weeding a few months ago the weeds are back with a vengeance!
Also a lot of pipe work is going on so the Dun an Oir and Corrib Drive rose beds may not survive.
A litter pick starting at Shannon Town Park
Tony helped Eileen W, Eileen M, Caren, Alan and Derek as two teams tackle the litter. Meeting at the bandstand in the town park we split into two teams. Tony headed off with the two Eileens and pulled some split one tonne bags out of the park before heading out along Gort Road, up the hill and back towards Drumgeely. Finally clearing litter at the bottom of Tullyglass Hill (opposite Tola Park) Tony also picked up 5 more dangerous li-ion vapes to add to his collection.
