Dún an Óir Rose bed had its centre weeded

Tony spent a couple of days forking up and then digging out the weeds from the centre of this bed.

Still have the borders to do and to add a QR sign to this blog :)

But a big improvement over how it was.

He found the best approach was to fork up a meter of so the length of the bed and then use a garden trowel to get under the weed so all its roots were pulled out.

He then bagged the roots (and collected any litter as he went in a separate bag)

A lovely find was all the Scarlet Pimpernel around its border
