We now have solar powered light in our storage container!

 Andy and Tony worked in the rain to finish wiring up the LED light and solar PV panel this morning at 11am.


A 10A fuse was connected to the solar panel and put in a grey box inside the container and a 4 m cable to a second light switch added.








There is now solar powered light! :)


So we will trial this for a while before adding improvements.

A litter pick starting at Shannon Town Park

Tony helped Eileen W, Eileen M, Caren, Alan and Derek as two teams tackle the litter. Meeting at the bandstand in the town park we split into two teams. Tony headed off with the two Eileens and pulled some split one tonne bags out of the park before heading out along Gort Road, up the hill and back towards Drumgeely. Finally clearing litter at the bottom of Tullyglass Hill (opposite Tola Park) Tony  also picked up 5 more dangerous li-ion vapes to add to his collection.
