Solar PV powered LED lighting for the 40' Container

 Well the dream team of Andy and Tony started to install the PV solar lighting system in the 40' container this morning.













Tony had been testing it in his shed for the last couple of weeks and today they perservered at getting the cables through the container.




A little bit of PV wiring and extra fuses to be added on Thurs 29/6 at 11 am the the installation will be complete and the project will be ready for commissioning!

A litter pick starting at Shannon Town Park

Tony helped Eileen W, Eileen M, Caren, Alan and Derek as two teams tackle the litter. Meeting at the bandstand in the town park we split into two teams. Tony headed off with the two Eileens and pulled some split one tonne bags out of the park before heading out along Gort Road, up the hill and back towards Drumgeely. Finally clearing litter at the bottom of Tullyglass Hill (opposite Tola Park) Tony  also picked up 5 more dangerous li-ion vapes to add to his collection.
